Leopard gecko kinked tail

Hello so I just got this leopard gecko around a week ago she’s a rescue that I decided to take in. She’s been adjusting well and I haven’t taken her out or anything yet so she can get used to her surroundings yet. She’s still yet to eat but besides that she’s still going to the bathroom, exploring her tank more and more and overall I think she is getting more comfortable. Though today I just noticed that there is this weird kink in her tail that I don’t know what it is. There doesn’t look to be any shed in that area and I’m a little concerned because the end of her tail still looks healthy. She has a vet appointment on Tuesday should I be really concerned though?

It is hard to say based on photo alone. To me it does look like old stuck shed that is constricting the tail and may eventually cause it to become necrotic and fall off and if addressed. I would try soaking the tail in warm water daily. I don't think it is emergent unless she seems to be really in pain. But if she was in a lot of pain she would have possibly dropped the tail. Not sure what else it could be to cause it to look like that.

To add on to this. it may have been where there was old shed there and the tail grew around it. One of my rescue Leo’s had this happen with one of his toes. There’s just a permanent kink but no shed. I didn’t explain that very well but if there isn’t shed then it could be how the tail grew around shed and now she just has this quirky characteristic :)
