Male or female

Wasn’t sure where to post this. What are the pros and cons of going with a male or female New Caledonian Gecko?thanks

If you go with a female, there's a chance that you may be able to add another female, though there's no guarantee that they will get along. Also, if you go with a female, you may have to deal with egg laying every season even if there's no male around. There's a very slight chance that one of these eggs will actually hatch, since crested geckos, gargoyles and leachies very occasionally are parthenogenic.
