Male or female?

So for 2 months now I thought Daniel was a male, now I’m having second thoughts. “He” is 7 months old. I’m not sure the picture quality is good enough to tell, I will take another if needed, any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I am still thinking male, but it is a little hard to tell for sure. I spent a summer where I raised the temperature of my incubator to get a male/female mix. I spent the whole summer looking at gecko bottoms with a 60x loupe and still couldn't be entirely sure. It was miserable.

maybe this picture is better, it was hard to get a good picture before he started squirming and I didn’t want to stress him out

In that picture I see no bulbs and the preanal pores look more like indentation than pits, so it does look female. I thought my leachie was male for 5 years until she laid an egg!

I had a chuckle at this - we thought our 15 year old leopard gecko was female, and so did the first vet "she" saw at about 8 years of age. Then 2 years ago we had to take her in again, and that vet said no, definitely male!
