When you put meal worms in the fridge do they just go into hibernation or do they still move around? Like would they eat the gutload and fruits and vegetables in the fridge?
They basically go into a state of hibernation, and don't really move around too much. When I put them in the fridge, I keep them in a tub w/o a top on it and put a layer of gutload (about a half inch) in the bottom. I don't put any water source in with them, but I do bring them out about once a week to let them warm up to room temp for a few hours and munch on carrots/apples/potatoes/oranges for moisture. They seem to do pretty well that way.
