Hi, I'm planning on breeding my girl and i was wondering if I could feed her mealworms. Do i need a certain size? Feed anything eles to the babies? I already know the calcium and vitamins, but I don't really like crickets as an option.

I only feed mine mealworms and superworms on occasion. I know of big breeders that only feed mealies. But it is good to throw in variety for your geckos.

Yea, mealies are fine. If you don't like crickets but are looking for easy insects to breed at home then I recommend mealworms, superworms, and roaches (there are several species to choose from, dubias are the most commonly available.) Then you can buy in other feeders for variety, but those are the easiest to breed at home so you have some variety available all the time.

When you end up having hatchlings, having a bowl of mealworms available at all times isn't a bad idea:) You can also try dubia roaches as well. I've heard those work wonders.
