Misting

I'm setting up a 90 gallon rain forest vivarium. I've ordered a Mist king system. But I really don't know how often or how long I should run it. How do other people do it?

It depends on the needs of your animals and plants. The geckos I have that need misting (crested geckos, gargoyles, a leachianus and a few day gecko species) need it humid but not soaking. I mist the nocturnal geckos in the evenings and the day geckos in the mornings. For these species I mist once a day. Once you know how much moisture your plants and animals need you can figure it out (and Mist King may be able to provide some suggestions if necessary).

Would the time be measured in seconds or minutes?

I mist by hand but I would imagine it would be somewhere between 30 seconds and 1 minute. There must be some online info somewhere.
