I picked up this guy at a PetSmart (I know, but I felt so bad for it!!) When I brought it home it was almost black like the color of the end of the tail, after 2 full sheds this is what he has blossomed into..... The pictures don't do the coloring any justice it's a weird yellowish green with some funky whitish purple markings and the tail is still black, not dead just colored that way... At first I thought when I got him it was a night something with how dark his coloring was but obviously not haha.. anyone wanna guess what this guy is?! I've never seen something like this!

I think it's a Murphys Patternless juvenile gecko. As it matures the markings on its body and head will fade and the black on its tail will probably fade too. You'll end up with a yellow or orange bodied gecko with a white tail. Google "juvenile murphys patternless gecko" and you'll see what I mean.
