I got my male, African Fat-Tail, Calcifer on the 28th of April this year. He's a happy, healthy boy, only roughly a year old. (Birth date, quoted May/June/July 2021 )
He's been having proper poops since I got him, but the last 2 are looking a little off. Both have been a little wet with a mucus coating. Photo attached.
I'm always changing his diet, black/brown crickets one feeding, dubia roaches the next. I like to give him the variety and he eats both happily - though he only eats 2-3 per feeding. I dust them with calcium most of the time and calcium with D3 the rest. I keep him on a playsand, sphagnum moss, and coco-coir substrate. He has a 7% shadedweller and a CHE on a thermostat for 12 hrs a day. Temp in the house doesn't drop below 18 Celcius. His humidity sits just above 70% on the cold side, about 54% on the warm. I don't mist the enclosure due to this, the average is about 64% in my home.
He's definitely due a little weigh-in, but he was 40g on May 18th.
Just weighed him, he's now 37g.
Hope this is enough information, thank you! I am a little worried, he's my first gecko.
