I have an under tank heater on the right side of the bottom of the cage. A good hefty amount of coconut shell substrate mixed with some bark and moss to help keep humidity up. I have a red heat light I turn on if the temp drops bellow 75 during the day. I keep him around 70 at night. Due to my other enclosures in the room I hardy have to use the overhead light. I have a temp/humidity gauge on one wall and a probe in the cool side of the substrate. I had him in a 20 long, but he hardly ever digs new burrows now that he's gotten older. Here is the full set up.

Keep him at a warmer temp and if you avoid doing large meals you will see him come out some lookin for food. That's how I know it's time to feed.
