Open to any tips or criticisms
this is my diy incubator ive been working on made from a 2.7 cu ft Mini fridge
i gutted the fridge and took every thing off and out so its a lot lighter now
uses 2 ft of 12" thg heat tape with modified cooling racks as the shelves and water bottles for thermal mass as well as a pc fan i had laying around to circulate the air
last time i timed it i think it took roughly 2 min 30 seconds to get back up to 82.7* then aprox. 20 ish minutes to drop to 81* before starting over again (those are the ambient temp, i havnt been able to get a good read from the inside of the egg containers im going to be using)
i figure the absolute max capacity for this is 22 cups using the thg egg trays which would give me 176 spots for eggs
My cost to build is around 30$ not including my thermostat which would only add probably another 30-40$
