My first clutch of eggs

I don't know where else to put this or if anyone particularly cares, I'm just very excited and want to vent this somewhere. My leopard gecko laid her first clutch of eggs 3 days ago. I was not exactly expecting eggs, (she was kept in an enclosure with my male as I had no issues with aggression or him pestering her) but as she is only about 10 months old, and the male is about a month younger, I didn't think I'd get eggs from her until next year. She has always had a big appetite, and I imagine that may have contributed to her maturing quicker. At any rate, she laid 2 eggs, both a good size, nice and plump, and now 3 days later I candled the eggs and can see a red ring and veins forming, which I've learned means they're fertile. All the while she acting her usual self, regaining her weight nicely, same old large appetite, and is once again digging in her nest of choice to prepare for another clutch (though now I've given her a proper laying box). Sorry to ramble on I'm just so excited!

I'm very happy for your excitement, let me tell you the.1st time I had my 1st clutch of eggs hatched I was so excited and so nervous I was shaking so bad and afraid I would hurt the newly hatched babies taking them out of the hatching container. After I was able to calm myself down and hot them in a small terrarium and writhing a couple days they were acting and running around like the grown ups. So don't worry they are survivors and hearty. I breed the Tremper Super Giant morphs and at 8months are already over 100grams. Enjoy your colonies and happy breeding.
