my frist hatchling is hatching!

It's nose is out and I can see it opening its mouth once in awhile breathing. how long should it take for it to come out of the egg? I'm very excited and nervous.

It's probably pooped and taking a break...hatching takes a lot of energy. Don't worry too much unless it doesn't move at all for quite awhile.

ok the head is still not all the way out. Every once in awhile I will se him breath and sometimes wiggle a little. After it hatches, should I put him in a seperate container with moist paper towl in the incubator, untill after first shed? or should I set up a 5 gallon tank? Thanks for the help.

Yes she is now out all the way but I have very sad news. It apears that her eyes are badly deformed and she may be blind. the pics arn't the greatest but you can tell that it's not normal. I'm still very proud of her. But I know she will most likely have to be put down. I blame the incubation fluctuations I have been have trouble with.

ok Now the pics apear smaller...weird...anyway she has very small black dots as eyes and no eyelids.
