I find that cresties grow at such different rates that I don't think anyone will be able to determine the age. If it's a male, when the hemipenes pop out, you will be in no doubt.

we love ours. Hard to tell sex until they are 12-14 months. Breeder or pet store might be able to tell you sooner but it’s not obvious until they sexually mature. We thought ours was a girl…. Then literally a ball sac appeared one week. An automatic mister is a great help in keeping humidity just right. This is essential for their health. Just a piece of advice I wish we were told early on. Here are a few pics of our guy… DoodlyDoo. He’s approximately 1.5 years old.
