Has anyone purchased the new exo-terra heat cable?
I am curious how it is when compared to Zoo Med's heat cable.
I was thinking of switching all my 10 gallon tanks over to Zoo Meds heat cable, when I saw that exo-terra has released a cable of their own.
Reason for switching over if it is hot enough for the leopard geckos is that I built a new shelving unit for my geckos and right now it is not fully complete, because I needed to get the shelf up and used for my geckos, I left out the sliders. But the final shelf will use sliders so that I can pull the entire shelf out and access all my tanks, at once, instead of individually pulling them out as I am doing now.
The second reason is be because it is less expensive to in the long run to purchase one heat cable rather than buying multiple heat mats as I add new tanks to the shelves.
