I got my new high yellow leopard a couple of weeks ago. Currently i turn her thermostat down to 21oC but the lamp is still on, if i turn it off fully (so she's in darkness) i'm worried that it will get too cold. Is it ok as it is?

the light may still be on but its prob getting less power i would put a temp gauge there for the moment and monitor it in the day and at night and that would prob give your answer. does seem as bright at night?

i have the thermomitor (can't spell to today) that controls the vivarium so that should keep it at 21oC. It's not as bright as during the day but i was wondering if having the light on at all will effect her behaver in anyway.

well lots of ppl say the red lights dont effect them much or at all. but yea if the light isnt as bright as it is in the day then your controller reduces the power given to the light which causes it to dim
