normal weight gain for babies?

How much weight do babies, on average, gain each week? I know most people let the babies go to new homes at 15 to 20g so what age is that usually?

I would estimate about 6 weeks. I didn't weigh my hatchlings at birth but at 2 weeks they're about 5 grams. Weight gain can vary widely from hatchling to hatchling.

Mine don't gain much the fist week or two and after that I look for 1-2 grams per week. I try to cut back how much I feed them about 25g and keep it to 1 gram a week but they're too cute to walk away from sometimes!

1 week- 4 grams
2 week- 7 grams
3 weeks- 10 grams
4 weeks- 13 grams
5 weeks- 17 grams
6 weeks- 18 grams
7 weeks- 21 grams
8 weeks- 22 grams
