comp-cropped vazimbaIMG_0124.jpg Here is one of two juvenile Paroedura vazimba I picked up earlier this month. This is the second smallest of the genus Paroedura (only P. androyensis is smaller). Currently this one has a snout vent length (SVL) of just over 2 cm. Neat little semi-terrestrial species, I love the tail-curling behavior!!

I bought it at a local pet store that specializes in herps and tarantulas - La Habra Pets here in SoCal, the owner knew I was into unusual and/or uncommon geckos.....and they keep their tails curled like that almost all the time! (except when stalking prey, then they wave it about some!)

Awesome I wish I had a specialty reptile store around where I live! I would for sure love to have a little guy like this!
