Os this uth big enough?

I'll be getting a 36x18x12 high terrarium and when looking on here someone said to get an 8x12 uth since there should be a cold side as well. Will this be big enough? Also what brand do you recommend

For a single gecko 8" by 12" is plenty. Get this one
