Ovulation

Hello I am new to breeding leopard geckos I just got my male in the mail and I put him in with my females he try’s to mate with them and they just run away so I wanted to see if my female was ovulation could someone please show me what it looks like by circling it or showing what it looks like I’ve seen the pictures but still don’t get it thanks.

Ovulation usually looks like round pinkish shapes in the upper to mid-abdomen, sort of like you were looking at a pencil eraser in there. As I mentioned in a previous post, for most leopard geckos (unless you're in the southern hemisphere), breeding season just ended and won't start up again until Feb. or so. I don't see any signs of ovulation in this gecko.
