My first reptile, my first gecko, Pepper has died today. She starved herself to death. And I know she didn't have a parasite because she was housed with her mate before I noticed this, and he's fine. She stopped eating about 2 weeks ago, and at first I thought she was just on a hunger strike. But towards these last few days as it got worse and she got weaker, I tried hand feeding her, I got repta boost, but she wouldn't take anything. I came home today to find her halfway in her hide... She was a beautiful girl, always loved to be held and loved to hunt crickets. I have 6 eggs from her that I am hoping more than ever to hatch, for her to live on in some way. My baby, Pepper.

I'm sorry for your loss. She was very cute. One thing to keep in mind is that it's possible that the other one may be infected as well but asymptomatic. I'd recommend he go to the vet with a fecal sample if possible to be sure.
