Now this may just be me, but I wanted to get everyone else's opinion on this as well. I've been noticing online that almost ever het caramel I have seen seems to have the stereotypical "white lacing or pinstripe" at the edge of the band across the rear legs that most phenotypic caramels seem to exhibit. Also most of the hets I've observed have the rear leg band shaped like a pseudo stinger or "batman" shape as well. Is anyone else noticing this or am I the only one? I just have to wonder that if others are noticing this too, could it be a possible het marker for the caramel trait? Kind of like the "butterfly or batman" markings on some het patternless animals?
