QUADING ALWAYS TURNS INTO HERPING!

Went riding with the kids today. Usually 50% of the time is spent hunting for snakes or amphibians... Found awesome little baby long toes under an old speaker box, along with tons of toads from 1" to 4". And some salamanders in the pond that are way behind-don't think they will hit land this season...and the snake was actually a road casualty...he died about 15 mins after the pic, he looks fine but he was busted up. Hate road kills, especially reptiles or amphibians. About 22 celsius here so everythings active for a little bit longer...

Just a big gravel pit we park at and people dump there junk, but gives some cover for the critters! Used to take old newspapers and lay them out when i was a kid, next day salamanders everywhere!
