Question about tail dropping

Hey! So we rescued a little boy today from his crappy old home and he had already dropped his tail. I've never seen a dropped tail on a crestie before so I was wondering if you guys thought this looked alright or if I should treat it with something?

I looks like it's healing over just fine. Aside from a little shed stuck on it, which is normal until the scab comes off.
I would just keep an eye on it and let it be. Keep you geckos enclosure clean and wait for the scab to fall off.
If it becomes enflamed or red or warm to the touch, then consult a vet as it would be infected.
It looks like your geckos in the last bit of the healing stage.
