Hey Dennis,

I got a call from the cricket farm this morning, and with your order not run through our website, I accidentally overlooked you when I was making my calls. The farm fixed their heating system last week, and when they came back this morning to check the ¾”-1” cricket room, they got blasted with a plume of cooked cricket smelling hot air. Turns out the heater didn’t cut off, at all, the whole weekend, lol killing their whole damn adult stock. The replacements will be ready definitely Wednesday or Thursday to ship out. They apologized repeatedly, but sometimes these things happen with farms. If you’d like a refund, I’d be willing to do so, but otherwise we’ll have you all set towards the middle of the week.

Well im defiantly not very happy, I avoided buying crickets at the show this weekend because i was under the impression they would be here on Saturday. Monday at the latest.. My geckos havent eaten since Thursday. beacuse i am out of crickets.
And a refund wouldn't help at this point because it would be the same turn around time.

Alright Dennis, I’m sorry things out of my control happen, but they happen. If you’d like, I have different species of roaches that can be used in lieu of crickets, and are even better for them. Things happen, Dennis. I was as surprised as you were when I got that call Monday morning to tell me all of our 1” crickets were dead because of human error. Believe me, it sucks more for me than you, because you’re not the only customer that was put out by this accident. They will be there man. I can do the Dubia roaches, but those are available on the website at the prices we can do them at.

I understand your frustration, I’d be livid myself. I just spoke with our farm, and we’re looking into it as your order was shipped out the 19th, you should of received it AGES ago. I’m sorry about this Dennis, dang USPS likes to jam up around Christmas with all the packages going through the mail. We’ll obviously have to send you out a replacement order anyways, as whatever is in that shipment is surely dead by now. I’m on top of this for you today, and we’ll probably need to get you a replacement order out as well. I agree, this is ridiculous, but bear with me Dennis, and we’ll get this figured out, one way or another.



We may be switching farms here in the near future, as you’re not the only one with a delayed package right now. I’ve reached my limit with USPS, and unfortunately it doesn’t look like they’re willing to switch over to Fedex as I’ve been suggesting.

With Christmas and all that, it could be tomorrow when you get them. Please let me know when you get it, and we’ll go from there. If there is substantial dieoff from the cold, please take pictures and send them to me.

I’ll tell you what, the next order you place other than Cricket or Superworm bulk as those come straight from the farm and not our home office, I’ll throw in a free Hornworm pod for the delay. I hope you understand, as I’m doing everything within my power to keep us in good standing.

We’ve never had the same customer not receive their crickets twice in a row. You should have received at the very least a dead order. Are you checking your front office and post box?

We have the receipts for the delivery of your two packages in hard copy should we need them, but you should have received something, dead or alive, and this is a first for both our farm and us for someone to not receive anything.

How do you even know they shipped anything.

I am not at fault here. being a seller of anything you should know to ALWAYS have tracking numbers added to everything you use.

How much of a difference are we looking at? With regular orders, with the proper invoice documentation, I can convince my distributor to shrink his size of the pie as we’ve been releasing around 100,000 crickets monthly into the wild due to overstock.

Additionally, if our competitor offered you $13.50 per box shipped for 2000 crickets, and you have a copy of this invoice, we would be happy to see what we can do to help you with that.

Honestly, $13.50 a box was below what we would offer our standard Breeder Program client, so we didn’t make enough to justify the work to this point. I’d be interested in helping your with 5000 crickets for $12 a box plus shipping, past that I would need a competitors invoice to match any other deals.

We don’t offer 3 month contracts. I really wouldn’t want to have you agree to something you’re not comfortable with, with a product you’re not happy with, at a price you can do better with. If you’d like to agree to a 12 month agreement, I’d be willing to match the price you pay locally, but at $67.50 I make next to nothing and can no longer honor it without our competitor’s invoice, as per our company policies.


As I said, I asked you repeatedly for the invoice proving your claims of receiving lower prices elsewhere, not once did you ever produce an invoice to substantiate your claims. Please stop denying ever asking for a lower price or that I never asked you for a competitors invoice, as the content of these emails speaks otherwise.

I'm not going to bicker with you on an internet messageboard, Dennis. I apologize to all of you who have to waste their time reading this when they could be reading more positive content in relation to their geckos and other pets. I hope I've proved my position with my responses.

Someone IS stealing the package, he'll probably get a refund from Paypal due to lack of proof of shipment. Honestly, the amount of time I've invested already in dealing with Dennis as a honest human being, I'd probably pay $70 just to be rid of him as I don't believe he's been completely truthful since the beginning.

Okay you asked if you were going to match you needed an invoice.
you never required me to give you an invoice to make an order.

yes i asked for a lower price.
i told you what i was willing to pay you and you kept asking for more. so yes i asked for a lower price.


I never received DOA crickets. I never received anything.

I hope you learned a lesson from all of this.

Believe me, we'll be having Delivery Confirmation available to future customers of crickets and superworms due to this order. Nothing left to be said.

And yes, releasing crickets into the wild is just fine, especially the House cricket as birds just swoop in and have a feast. It's quite the sight from what I understand.

Samuel jackson, Dear lord people this is a bit of a mess. Has it occured to anyone that the crickets simply arnt reaching anyone? Shit happens, and fast. I was wondering if you two could just compromise? Possibly just refund one order of crickets and call it quits. For no reason should anyone be assuming anyone else is lying. Those types of things just cause issues. Why dont you place eachother in the others shoes. On one hand you have a feeder seller. He is an honnest man and has sold many shipments of crickets before, he has sent someone 2 orders and both have been claimed DOAs, now the customer wants a refund. He has no way of telling if they are lying or not. Understandable

NOW you have a breeder, he has ordered 2 shippments(ok 1 shippments with a replacment.) Neither have arrived and he needs the feeders. He has no idea what happend, is the seller lying, did the crixs not make it for some reason? He wants a refund for a product he didnt recive. Understandable.

Bottom line is this, there is no way of telling wich of you is lying and theres no point in arguing over a hopless topic. Why dont we just make a compromise?

The minute we start ripping eachother new ones is when it all goes bye bye. So shall we shake and make up? You dont have to like eachother and i dont exspect you to do business again but if we could cohabbit togather and work togather when needed for the better of the forum and the new members who stroll,stumble, glide, fall flat in here itd be nice.

if paypal action has already been taken i dont see the point in slander and bullying spf. it wont accomplish anything. cut your losses and dont deal with eachother again.

Unfortunately the "compromise" you speak of is simply giving him his money back when he claims he never received not one, but two shipments of the same order. When he claimed not to receive the first order, I decided to "compromise" and ship out another 5000 crickets, something that is expensive in shipping costs alone. Then he states he didn't receive that replacement order either. Not that it arrived DOA, as you theorized, but that a rather large stack of 5000 crickets didn't arrive TWICE IN A ROW. We're losing money in the second shipment's shipping costs alone, and since we're already taking a loss with the second shipment which the Buyer supposedly also never received, wouldn't the compromise be he share in some of the sale's loss?

Now I don't know what the exact odds are that a shipment of 3-5 cricket boxes stacked on top of eachother gets lost in the mail are, but I know in the 6 months we've been offering Crickets and Superworms on a bulk scale, we've never had a single order go completely missing, not one. Knowing that, what would be the odds of same order getting lost a SECOND time? And upon review, you find inconsistencies in a Buyer's story from the beginning, and accompanied with a "gut feeling", you start realizing you could be getting scammed for $70, and that in fact the Buyer has a much higher chance of having received one or both shipments than for both shipments to go mysteriously missing.

Okay first, i didnt slander anyone. I DIDN'T EVEN MENTION HIS NAME.
i merely asked a couple questions.

I never accused him of being untruthful.
He made all the remarks like that.
