Would it be big enough? Yes. You could house a pair in one of those too.

However, screen cages can present a problem with leachianus, since it's very difficult to maintain proper humidity. Unless you modified it somehow, it would almost always be too dry.

Just reread the OP and noticed your second question, sorry.

Price depends on several factors.

Age is a big thing with leachies, since they take so long to mature sexually. The older the animal is, the more expensive it will be.

Locale/type is also a factor. Depending on the locale, a recent hatchling might be several hundred all the way up to $1500. GT's are more than island geckos, and the rarer locales more than the more common.

The breeder can also affect the price. The guys who have been around for a while can demand prices that a jo-schmo nobody just can't pull off.

It just depends on what you're looking for, really. If you don't care what it is, you just want a leachie, and you don't plan to breed it, then you should be able to find a hatchling for $3-500, maybe a Nuu ana, Nuu ami, Pine island, Moro or a mix/unknown. Those are the ones I see the most often for sale. The mixes or unknowns are just as cool, so don't let it stop ya.

However, if you just absolutely need a Poindimie' female, then you're looking at about $1500.

Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about where to find one, or anything really.
