Temperatures inside of leopard gecko heat hide.

So my temperature inside of the hide is 98 degrees and I wanted to know if that’s normal for inside, just moved over to leopard geckos from chameleons so this whole hide heating is new to me, thank you!

Are you using a thermostat for the heater? If not, you need one. If so, consider putting the probe into the hide.
