Hi everyone :) My male leopard gecko Frank has long nails. He has ceramic tiles in his enclosure that are upside down so he traverses the ruff side. But for hygiene purposes he lays on paper towel when in the dry hide. I am just interested in people's experiences and tips on trimming their nails.

Many thanks

Personally I wouldn't trim them in general. They're small and I'm sure if trimmed they could easily crack into the fleshy part of the nail. But If you're determined to, make sure you have precise nail clippers, the smaller the better. The kind that are for grittily weak human nails. Also hopefully you know not to go to far :T
