Well, the egg that I was hoping to hatch soon still hadn't hatched this morning. I think it was on Thursday, I had candled the egg and saw movement, so I thought "It'll probably still hatch...I'll be patient." On Sunday, no movement. On Monday, no movement. Monday night, it started to collapse. "Oh yay! It's hatching soon!" This morning, still no baby. I decided to open it. What I found was a mostly formed baby (didn't feel like it had ribs) and an extra head attached to the top of the baby. I saw 4 eyes, 2 jaws, 2 upper palates. Unfortunately, it was not alive, but it was neat to see. Just wish it didn't happen. I must warn you, though....pictures are graphic (blood, egg goo, and....oh yeah! A parasitic twin!)

And a happy, healthy, still alive leopard gecko to cheer you up. This one hatched earlier this year.

Weird, sad, but neat at the same time. Never seen anything like this in person, before, so it was quite an experience (and a surprise) when I opened up the egg.
