Today I became the parent of a 1 year old Halloween Mask Bold Stripe Leopard gecko; his name is Edison:main_laugh:. I purchased him at the Westchester Reptile Expo through Loki Reptiles. He's been handled a lot by the owners and is super friendly. My question is when should I feed him? Should I feed him tonight or just let him get used to his new environment and feed him tomorrow?

Thanks!!

ALSO: do any of you know of any good websites to buy gut loaded feeders? In the mean time he will be eating dubia roaches.

Thanks again (will post photos soon!)

As mentioned above, it never hurts to offer the first day. As far as gutloaded feeders go, gutloading means giving the feeders good, nutritious food just before you feed them to the gecko, so, by definition, whatever you buy at the store isn't going to be gutloaded anymore when you get it home and get around to feeding. Buy crickets, roaches, mealworms or superworms and also get a good powdered gutload. I'm not sure how good Flukers is. I get mine online from progeckos.com.
