Yesterday I sorta wandered into a Petco and purchased two little Hermit Crabs! I had thought about getting a few since I had an extra tank available but isn't set up. Normally I won't get an animal without a home to come to but Petco was about to close and there was this little thing in a cone type shell that I absolutely feel IN LOVE with, i had to have it, so I bought 'him' with a little companion!
The little guy that first caught my eye is in a 'natural' shell and his buddy is in a 'fancy' shell (ugh) that's been painted blue with a yellow fish and goggly eyes, can't wait until he moves and leaves that thing behind but he was my second love the and the second move active!
They are the smallest crabs I've seen to date with the opening being the side of maybe a nickle or so they are so cute and ACTIVE! Right now they're in a plastic shoe back with the absolute basics until i get my crabitat supplies in!!
I'm just so excited!!
