Why do leopard geckos form fat deposits in their arm pits when thet can just store fat in their tail?
Yes... those 'armpit' sacks are calcium-rich fluid.
Geez, how do you guys know that?
Because the fluids have been tested before.
If you cut back on the calcium you will also notice those sacks slowly going away.
More this happens with females than males, which is good come time for them to form eggs.
