"Wild" Wax Worms

Hi,
I'm still a new leopard gecko parent so forgive me if this is a dumb question but...
My husband is a bee keeper and he sometimes gets wax worms in his bee hives (which is not good for the bees). He does not use any chemicals on his hives so I was wondering if it would be safe to feed wax worms from his hive to our gecko?

Thanks in advance!

It's probably safe, but not that desirable since some leopard geckos get addicted to them. It's not bad, but it can lead to the gecko only wanting waxworms. If you're willing to take the risk, give it a try.

I've read that they are fattening and should only be a treat food so I was thinking maybe 1 or 2 a week. Maybe we will wait until Zippy is older to be safe.
