Hello all Gecko lovers! We are looking for a new home for our Gecko girl Pinky, she is only 6 month old, I bought her for my granddaughter a few months ago, but we are getting ready to move to Europe and can't take her with. Please contact us here if interested.
I am a 13-year-old reptile enthusiast. I have written several care guides published on my site, herphusbandry.weebly.com, and one for Western Fence Lizards (Sceloporous occidentalis) that was published in the jan/feb issue of Reptiles magazine, as Herper's Most Wanted. If you saw it, let me know what you thought!

I have 0.2 leopard geckos, and I'm currently incubating 1 egg. I'm expecting 2 more.
Hi everyone.

I have a 1 year old (and three months) leopard gecko. He lives in a 25 gallon and I use two domes, one for a CHE and on a dimming thermostat, and the other, a nano UVB (I also provide the appropriate calcium with and without D3). He's been doing good, but this morning I woke up and both domes and lights won't work. I'm set to leave town on Saturday and in my town, I don't have a way to get back up he
Hey I copied your post about a prolapse and sent it to apart who know a lot about geckos and here was the response.

I understand that the vet doesn't have an appointment till next week but, this is a true emergency and your friend should call back the vet and tell them that this gecko needs to be seen right away as an emergency. If the exotics vet still won't budge, have your friend go to a regular vet as an emergency.

I know they can't necessarily do much, but perhaps they'll be motivated to contact an exotics vet and do a telehealth visit. It's really crucial that this gecko gets to a vet ASAP.

Sorry all of the one message would not fit in one post. I hope your leopard gecko gets better.
I have two female leopard geckos who from what I can tell they have never ovulated. It is around the time for ovulation and they show no signs of ovulating. I am giving them plenty of calcium and they are the right age. What is the issue?
I have a female leopard gecko that I bred with my male. I saw them breed and separated them into their own tanks. I read that she would lay her eggs 16 to 22 days after copulation. It is now the twenty eighth day and she still has not laid her eggs.I can see her eggs and I am providing her with a moist laying box. I am keeping her right beside my male and they can see each other could this be stressing her out.

Also from what I can tell she has no symptoms of being egg bound because she is eating fine is active and does not have a bloated stomach. I am new to this and it is my first time. Any advice would be appreciated.
This might be a long shot, but does anyone have advice for keeping bottle fly spikes alive?

Bottle Fly Spikes should be kept in the fridge at temperatures between 35°F and 43°F. Keep stored on the damp sawdust they're packaged in for a longer shelf life

Millie2310, thank you so much! I'll try this with my next batch.
I have a leopard gecko that is overweight. I need to put her on a diet. I was wondering if I should just not feed her, if I should feed her less than what than what I have been feeding her before I noticed, or feed her something entirely different. I have been feeding her 2 to 3 superstorms every other night. What should I do.

Just jumping in here! I would recommend not feeding your gecko foods such as waxworms / mealworms too often as they're high in fat, but low in protein and nutrients. Instead, crickets and locusts are preferable :)

WHAT BULB…

Hello, I was wondering whether a 26 or 13 watt exo terra full spectrum plant growth bulb would be better for a 18x18x24 tropical bioactive terrarium.
Thanks!
