My three geckos (now sadly two)

One escaped, and I found it dessicated and deceased in the closet. :( I'm not sure yet which one I lost, as the other two are very secretive, so I never catch more than a glimpse of them.

My first Mourning Gecko eggs + questions on incubation and rearing

A week or so ago, I caught a rare glimpse of one of my two mourning geckos up against the glass. I could clearly see what appeared to be eggs within her. This morning, I was excited to discover two eggs in the left front top corner of the vivarium! Here they are: They were laid just under the...

    My new Mourning Gecko Trio

My daughters and I made a short video of the intro of our new geckos into the viv. This was on August 2nd. We purchased them from Styx on this forum, who happens to live about 1/2 hour from us. (Thanks again for the geckos and all the help!)

    Returning to geckos

Thank you. I have kept leopard geckos and enjoyed them a lot. I have thought about crested geckos, too. I may eventually try those out as well. One of the reasons I enjoy Mourning geckos so much is their parthenogenetic reproduction...I find that fascinating. I can't rule out day geckos, either...

    Returning to geckos

Hi, i'd better introduce myself. Back in in 2002 or so, I obtained my first leopard geckos. I enjoyed them a lot, but I a couple of years later, i had to move to Hawaii for work, and could not legally take them with me. I found a new home for them, but I soon discovered that we shared our...
