Not possable. You cannot find the sex of the beetles easily. You do not need to worry about sexes. Each female can lay around 500 or so eggs. Lets say only 100/600 are females and the lay just 100 eggs, thats 25,000 mealworms.
The wax worms never were in this room. I actually put them in a insulated shed outside because of all the horror stories I heard. The larva looks like the grain moths from what I looked at. They dont look like it. Ill look at a few and compair if any of the moths in my mealworm room hatch.
If even 600 live, its capable of producing 15k every 10 days or so depending on your conditions(mosture, heat etc). They seem to last up to a month and at times longer.

I did see the moths themselfs a month or so back. Thought I got rid of them untill I saw them today. I have 40 or so trays full right now so if it spreads, it will be big. I started sealing up the infected containers and put lids on all the others. The room is sealed...
It seems some grain moths have gotton into my breeding trays recently. I know you are supposed to get rid of the source but I can't due to having baby mealworms in them. Should I quarantine the trays off? Any tips?
