Transitioning off of pellets & other questions

I have 2 geckos, 3 armadillo lizards and we just got an adult Beardie (Tiamat) on Sunday night. He was in a 20 gal long and fed pellets as the main part of his diet. I've got him in a 40 gal and I've offered mustard greens, he's so far not too interested (he likes his pellets unfortunately). My...

Once he sheds will he eat?

temps are good. I offered waxworms under his nose a few days ago and he won't eat them. The crickets are right under him and he is not interested. I am hoping he is just adjusting.

Once he sheds will he eat?

We have had our 3 year old gecko for 10 days now and he has not eaten. He pooped once. Today he appears to be shedding (he's very white). He's pretty healthy / plump tail. Here is his pic from a few days ago. He's had mealworms in a dish (i pitched them today, looked not so good, i don't think...

    Humid hide part time?

It made a lot of sense and it is a really reputable reptile store, not chain pet store... I had take apart the hide (tupperware) to get him out of there, the little bugger. I was worried he would get too cold also.

    Humid hide part time?

The guy at the reptile pet store told me to remove the humid hide and only offer it a few days a week since my leo tends to go in and stay like a lump 24/7. We took out today and rearranged his space and he has been very active and even pooped (yay - hasn't since he got here on Sunday). Ever...

Tank re-do already (pictures) - cleaning fake plants ??

Where are you in Oregon, if I may ask. I was looking at the ledge and had the same thought, but the time it would take me I could bill one of my clients (graphic design) for about 5x as much LOL. We are switching to slate in the near future, I am new and didn't know sand was bad... I would...

Tank re-do already (pictures) - cleaning fake plants ??

I redid the tank already LOL. Found a great reptile supply store and spent too much on a faux rock bridge and a nifty ledge that attaches magnetically. My son and I are going to find a picture background we like and print it out on photo paper. He's moving all over the place (I hope that...

New owner with tank questions (pictures)

Nancy, I like the natural look of your setup. I also noted that your thermometer just sat on the surface, so I took the temp of my surface like that, not semi buried (mine is new and the cord has some kinks from being in the package so it doesn't just settle nicely on the sand, I have to hold it...

I like your tank. I am new myself. I really enjoy seeing how other people set up. Looking forward to seeing your leo!

New owner with tank questions (pictures)

PS - The tank and decorations came with him, although I've moved them around. If he is used to eating crickets, should I offer those also, or just leave the mealworms for now (I have no idea if he likes them or not).

New owner with tank questions (pictures)

We just purchased a 3 year old gecko off of craigslist on Sunday. I've since learned from this forum that the previous owner did a few things right and a few things wrong. His tank had not been cleaned in a year and there was a whole cricket ecosystem under the sand - the crickets lived with...
