My husband and I just got back from the Midwest Reptile Expo in Indianapolis where we had the pleasure of meeting the guys from Magical Geckos. I wish we had caught their names. They were fantastic to work with. We bought a beautiful super snow leopard gecko from them... and man is she a big...
There's certainly lots of beautiful works of art in this thread, and such a huge variety of media and styles!
I actually just uncovered some of my old works, buried and collecting dust in the spare room :main_laugh:
Oil Painting
Large Pastel
Colored Pencil
Ink
I can understand why you're upset, I'm not a big fan of taking wild caught animals either. I purchased a salamader about a year ago, assuming it was CB. The poor girl wouldn't eat for me and was very lethargic, I contacted the vendor and sure enough she had been caught just a few days prior to...
I'll be there on Saturday:main_thumbsup:
At the smaller show in Indy just a couple months ago, there were a few leo vendors, but the only 'large' one was Aubrey's Reptiles, I'm sure he'll probably be back for this show.
There were a ton of beardies and corn snakes and quite a few dart...
I can't say that I've ever seen the words "projectile poop" and "cute" used together before haha.
My sunglow loves to sit on top of her house (which is also where she has decided to poop... go figure). Yesterday she was sitting up there against the back of her tank just looking at me. I...

Culling usually means to put down, kill or euthanize an animal. Generally this is done if the animal has some sort of defect that could impair it's ability to thrive. For breeders, it is usually to spare the animal having to suffer.
Daniel has been pretty busy, so I'll reply :main_laugh:
Apollo (the male) is back to acting normal. We do think that he just got a bit too cold that morning and now that the heat is back up and stable he's doing just fine:main_thumbsup:
Thanks everyone for the information and support!
I wouldn't say that they kill themselves on it :main_laugh: but both of my girls do get stuck on the repti-carpet. I still use it in one of my tanks, but I cringe everytime she catches her teeth on the fibers. She doesn't do it often but on those occassions were she lunges a bit too hard...
Leopard Geckos Unlimited is based out of Cincy. I haven't done any direct business with them (yet!;)) but they are here on the forums and have some great looking leos.
edit: guess I could be nice and include the link haha.... http://www.leopardgeckosunlimited.com/index.html
