These are mealworms. Those things are pupa. The mealworms turn into those for about three weeks and then turn into beetles. We have those in our cage and my gecko eats them. I don’t think that is the reason for it.

I think it is a male. A little hard to see, but still looks like It.

If you have two males in the same tank. They will probably start to fight. If they do start to fight, put one in a different tank or get rid of one because you don’t want them to fight. If they don’t fight, and get along, that is GREAT!
