Hey everyone,
So I have had leos for about a year and a half and I say I am pretty good at caring for them. Recently I have found myself thinking of cresties alot. At first i didn't like the way they looked at all but lately they seem to be growing on me...this truly is an addiction! :)...
Hey there! Always wiling to help out a fellow Canadian gecko lover! :D
I live in MOntreal, Canada so I know how bad our winters can get. Right now I would say your temp are fine but you will want to get some additional heat sources soon. I use an infrared red light as an additional heat source...
Hey everyone. Its been a while since I last posted. Been busy moving back to Canada. Anyway I am all done with the move and I have already bought my new LEO!!!! I am so hapy with my purchase. I have had her for 3 days now and so far no problems. (Pics will follow later).
Anyway now that I...
That sounds just horrible. Good for you for wanting to take up the cause of reporting them. Try to get some pics but of course be careful. You don't want the manager or some employee trying to get you out of the store before you get all the pics you need. A cell phone camera would probably...
That's exactly why I never liked holding mine too much. I was always worried they would just dart somewhere really fast and I would lose track of them. Or they would injure themselves by falling. If I handle them its usually in or right on top of their tank. I don't start walking around the...
What a pair of old battle axes!! :p
Nah just kidding they look great! 17 years! Wow, congrats. You have done a great job taking care of them. What lucky geckos. My hats off to you!
I love the bottom one! So cute. You wouldn't happen to be selling the bottom one would you? I'm moving back to Canada in a couple of weeks and might be interested.
Hurray!!! :2thumbsup: I'm so happy you finally caught him and that he is safe and healthy. I've been wondering and worrying if you were ever going to find the little guy. I'm so glad this whole ordeal has a happy ending to it!! The little guy must have had quite an adventure roaming around...
If you want to be as safe as possible I would suggest just doing it gradually. Feed your gecko a couple of crickets and then throw in a meal worm or two. Then slowly increase the number of worms and reduce the number of crickets. Although personally I used to just switch my geckos between...
This is something my first gecko Tequila used to do. You see I surrounded her tank on three sides with a sort of forest background wallpaper. In the tank I had this small artificial tree which was close to one of the walls. Tequila would climb to the top of the tree and then reach out towards...
Great Job 77gecko! Glad he found a good home with a good owner. He's good looking now but he'll look fantastic when your done with him!
How about some "after" pics when you've got him all fattened up and healthy?
