my dubia bin has very very low humidity (they get their moister from fruits and vegetable only, i found the water crystals to be quite nasty and a pain to deal with.
i feed them mainly carrots, pears, oranges, squash and apples for moister (along with dry catfood).
i have the entire lid open...
just wondering...how can you tell the difference between a mack blazing blizz and a normal blazing bliz? :main_huh:
im totally stumped
does anyone have pics to compare?
what im hatching is solid pink/white right out of the egg :main_robin:
thanks!
i was actually considering buying a gravid gecko from a well known reputable breeder (and someone who i have bought much of my stock from and havnt been dissapointed in the truthfulness of the sex and genetics)
seeing how well they pack their animals i honestly would not think twice about it...
ive had a colony for 3 years thats about to hit critical mass :). time to split it.
i started with 500 and have something in the range of 10k now, prolific bastids.
ive never been bit, but they can and do 'musk' you sometimes when picked up (the adult males atleast)
they are interesting geckos, but not what i personally would consider to be hypermelanistic, what i want to see is a solid black animal ;).
either way, nice looking morph, it will be interesting to see how it works with other traits
i give away any animals that i produce with imperfection as i simply dont want them in my breeding stock or collection. id rather have them go to a good home (all animals i give away go to someone i know will give the care they need). im not saying they make worse pets, they are basically the...
i already have my DB hets and SSBB hets so with any luck i will be seeing white with solid red eyed babies soon. i personally wouldnt really want a super raptor. however, i love the looks of the snow raptors, so i must agree that genetically they are desirable.
just getting back into the game :D . i bred leos years and years ago, sold my collection about the time the blizzards became available.
i started my collection big this year, heres what im working with:
1.1 tremper het blizzard/RAPTOR (have first set of eggs incubating!)
1.1 SS het...
the male i wanted is no longer available...so....
if i breed a female RAPTOR to my super snow het bb
they will all be het RAPTOR right and half het blizzard?...or something...
and an albino SSxraptor will give me all snow albino het raptor?
sorry, im a bit comfused :main_huh:
so i have a 1/8 chance of hatching a mack albino w/ eclips eyes right?
and 1/32 of getting a mack RERS
and 1/32 of getting a mack RAPTOR?
or something
:main_lipsrsealed:
crossing a snow het RAPTOR and a RAPTOR gives me a 25% chance of getting a raptor hatchling right? and a 50% chance of it being a snow?
just checking :main_rolleyes: still kinda getting the hang of genetics
thanks ~m
if i had a BB and bred it with a SS, what would i get? what about a SS het.albino?
im doing some gecko shopping, but im still pretty bad at figuring this stuff out :(
thanks
~m
im just getting back into leo keeping and am buying some breeders for this next year. i bred them years ago (when the blizzards first came out) so im kind of new at all these new morphs...:main_rolleyes:
what would i get with a 1.1 pair of tremper albinos, both 100% het Raptor and blizzard...
