u can get rheostat from pet$mart or petc0 for about $20...Thermostats can get pricey but a couple affordable brands are Johnson Controls and Ranco's ETC-111000 which im using now. I got it on ebay for $54 shipped

Your cool temp is fine @ 76 (mid 70's are ideal)...as for the warm side im not sure wat u mean about the wattage but as long as you have the UTH meant for a 10-20gl tank you should be fine, u should invest in a rheostat or thermostat asap so you have a way of regulating the UTH. Yes u are correct...Those warm side temps are too high, try maintaining them at 88-92

Leopard Geckos and Corn Snakes are both considered entry level reptiles i was just curious of what people who hav both think are more docile.

Should u put the aspen beding directly on the top of the UTH . or should u put a piece of repti carpet or tile on top of it so if the snake burrows it wont be to hot on it underside?
