    Are wild woodlice safe?

They are not for food, they ate for a 'clean-up crew' for my vivarium. I want it to be a bio-active tank that is somewhat self-sustaining. Proper insects and worms keep the soil clean an fertile. I wish more people would answer.

    Are wild woodlice safe?

Hello I have just recently overhauled my Crested Gecko's vivarium. I am in an area where I cannot buy woodlice for my bio-active viv, so was wondering if anyone had any success with wild caught woodlice and earthworms? Are they safe for use in a viv? Is there a way to, in a sense...

    Rodney not eating...

Hello I haven't posted in a while...anyway, my crestie, Rodney, has stopped eating the past week - maybe a bit longer than that, now. I was wondering if it could it be the heat? I live in Ontario, Canada - this past month it has gotten very hot (mid 30's, C) with no air conditioning...

Almost a year old - still TINY!

Oh and she is intending to get some Repashy food this week when she goes to the reptile store. Hopefully that will help as well. ALSO She has noticed that about a third of his tail (at the end) has shriveled a bit and is kinda 'squishy' feeling. He won't use his tail now. I personally...

Almost a year old - still TINY!

Well her house is often cool. I always have to wear a sweater over there :P She has a light in the enclosure to keep it warm. Her humidity is always up at good levels. The tank is (I THINK) a 50 gallon. She doesn't feed bugs, she gives them a home-made Crestie diet (ground chicken...

Almost a year old - still TINY!

Hello I am posting this for a friend of mine who has a cresties. She bought her (approximately 4 month old at the time) male 11 months ago, and he hasn't really grown much at ALL. He still looks like he's only a couple months old. What could cause this? Malnutrion or something genetic...

Rodney only eats CGD from my finger...

Hello I have a young male crestie. He will catch his own crickets, but will not eat CGD from his dish (which is a small plastic tupperware lid). He will, however, eat from my hand, which is what I have had to do, since it is a waste to set out CGD every night only to have it spoil. Is...

    New gecko not eating.

OK Got this liddle crestie a couple weeks ago. Everyone told me he shouldn't be in the 15 gallon vivarium since he's so small. So I put him in a 5 gal with a hide, a stick and paper-towel substrate. Now he's not eating. He was eating when he was in the big tank (yet he would only eat while I...
