    New to Reptiles. Cresties Questions

My opinions... 18x18x24 minimum for an (1) adult gecko. You should not cohabitate at all. They are not social animals and do not need "friends". If you want to breed the male needs to be seperate or it will breed your female to death. Mopani wood is supposed to be good for the humid...

First pair of Cresties - what's wrong?

To add, crested geckos are mostly active after dark, you typically should not be able to find them during the day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    New Crestie.

I use that one too. I have 4 diets I rotate for variety, Repashy, Pangea with insects, clarks fig, and bpz. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Some of them just don't like live bugs. It is not necessary to feed live. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I would order Pangea with insects. I feed Pangea with insects and Repashy on alternating days. Tomorrow I am going to repticon and going to pick up some clarks fig CGD. So that I can rotate the 3 diets. Just to offer some variety. I don't feed bugs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How am I supposed to know what's normal?

All normal. I agree with Aliza on everything but the crickets. Make sure he is eating CGD regularly befoRe giving crickets. Part of the problem might be that he is holding out on the CGD in hopes you will cave in and feed crickets. Don't give in...tough love ya know. I think you could get your...

My new crested making me worry

No live until he is eating CGD regularly. If you start feeding live he may reject the CGD even longer. Once he is eating it on his own regularly you can give live once every 1-2 weeks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    MBD Crestie Question

I have never experienced this. From everything I have seen on here. They will never recover. They cannot heal, but the progression can be stopped. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Have you had any luck? Another idea is testing out different consistencies. Thicker or thinner some like it one way versus the other. Let us know Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

My new crested making me worry

Remember also they are active at night and sleep during the day. I offer food on the ledge and food on the ground now. 9 times out of 10 he will choose the food on the ground. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Did you offer a second dish on the ground? You don't need a dish you can just use a water bottle cap. When I first got mine, this is what I would see in the morning, very little missing. Forget all the other " stuff" until you get him eating the CGD on a regular basis, then you can offer treats...
