Thanks! Boas are a lot of fun. At least with these two (with the exception of mistaken-for-food bites, which are avoidable) I have found them to be quite docile and easygoing.

Zalma, the 2-year-old Colombian. I LOVE this girl!!! She's a total sweetheart (except when my hand gets mistaken for a rat; those teeth sure can hurt!) with a killer feeding response, and in terms of colors, this girl is loaded with pink!

Congrats! Bp's are the greatest! I actually started out the other way around, I was originally hooked on snakes (still am!), and just this past year or so I've been getting into geckos and lizards. :)
Basically yes. With leachies and several species of agamid there have been a few cases of parthenogenesis in captivity, but not with gargoyles, and even if gargoyle parthenogenesis were possible (which I suppose it might be), the odds of it happening are extraordinarily slim.

There is a lot of controversey over MVB's because many of the MVB's out there do more harm than good and are just plain dangerous. However, I will vouch for MegaRay's any day of the week. The best artificial UVB source out there.
