I'm looking to rehome my male and female carrot tails and my juvenile female. I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, so I was hoping to find someone in the area who can take them in. They're all healthy, I just had to downgrade my house after a military move.
E-mail me if interested-...
Mine does it when she's aggressive... the one time she ever tried to bite me was after she was waving her tail. She's was mad because she didn't appreciate her bath :D
I would try getting a fecal sample done. In the meantime, check out the sticky for the gecko slurry. Hopefully she'll eat some of that so you can get a sample for the vets.
You need to first be positive that he's eating. If he's eating and still losing weight, he probably has a parasite that a vet can check for. He may also be impacted. What kind of substrate is he on?
My oldest refuses to eat unless I feed her with tongs. My littlest only eats from a dish, he refuses to "hunt". It drives me nuts, but yeah I watch them eat hehe
Just wondering (I have no insight to your issue really, except you need more humidity perhaps) but why do you say red bulbs are unnecessary? Or rather, why do you think it may have contributed to the problem? (ignore me if I misunderstood the last part of your paragraph)
I've never had moss mold, but I have had coco fiber mold :main_rolleyes:
Makes no sense... stupid mold
but, I agree, coco fiber is easier to burrow into, and I doubt you'll have to have it in there long enough for mold to really form for whichever substance you decide to use.
