crested gecko burrowing

We have a baby crested. For the most part, it has been climbing and exploring on a regular basis. Today, it burrowed in the substrate at the bottom of the habitat. Anything I need to worry about? Thanks.

Mine do that too sometimes especially the adult females who lay eggs (which obviously your young one isn't going to do). Maybe it's just exploring.

Thanks. I think you are right. It has been active at night and seems in good spirits. We've also got a pretty bright light for the plants and have backed off from that.
