I am thinking about getting a crested gecko sometime soon and I was wondering what the biggest cage you would use for a crestie is?
I am thinking about making a 30"(L) x 18"(D) x 36"(H) cage for it and having the bottom 9" being soil for plants.

I find that aspen shavings work really well for them. Also with a little rat like yours I wouldn`t go with a ferret nation as the bar gaps are about 1 inch and they can manage to get out sometimes. I would go with a Critter nation instead if you go for a bigger cage.

Ok so I have an egg that has been sweating for over 24 hours and I have candled it and I cannot see anything moving inside, it possible that it has died in the egg as about a week ago there was a power outage for about 5 hours. I wanted to know what you guts would do, leave it alone or pip the egg.
I was looking at that site a few days ago and I looked into it a bit more and it is a US company and I am in canada and I don`t want to pay for the extra shipping costs to get the supplies.
