    Incubating crestie eggs!

I know more about leopard geckos then I do cresteds, however I want to start breeding some cresties. I know that leopard gecko eggs can be temperature controlled for a specific sex, my question is: Can crested gecko eggs be temperature sexed as-well?

    What is this?

He actually is green. Its faint at times and vibrant at others. Thats why I cant tell exactly what morph he is, I've never seen another like him!

    Switching from crickets to repashy.

Yeah sorry I forgot to include that. Yes I do know that you mix with water. However I know of some people who have cresties who do eat just the plain powder...seems like it would be kind of disgusting and dry, but then again I'm not a gecko!

    Heating

I have 2 leopard geckos and 1 crested, I have no additional lighting for the crested, I simply use the lighting from the leos (since they're so close) and that seems to be enough to give light to him. However in reality virtually nothing additional is needed for a crested!

    Name ideas

If you could provide some pictures of his underside then perhaps people could help you figure out the sex. In one of the pictures there seems to be a bulge at the base of the tail, this would indicate it being a male! I'm really no good with names but I have a male crested and his names Bugs...

    A few new pickups

Baby crested's are just so adorable! I see them in pet stores quite frequently and you just want to cuddle them but you can't, they'd probably be squished! :main_laugh:

    Switching from crickets to repashy.

I recently bought a crested gecko from a local pet store (bad idea I know) but hes really healthy. At the store they did not have any repashy or any other supplement, only food was crickets. How hard is it to switch a crested from crickets to repashy? I feel like he would not know that he's...

    What morph?

Looks to me that it is a definite harlequin!

    Dark spot on nose

I've never had anything like that happen however I have a few theories as to what it is: It could be where he bumped his nose on the side of the cage, mine occasionally does this when he darts at a cricket. Another possibility is that it could simply be where his skin is different colored. How...

Alright, I think I've decided on a couple crested geckos for my next gecko experience

This is an old post so I'm sure that you've gotten everything figured out by now, but incase you havent: First just let me say that cresteds are awesome! Mine is sitting on top of my computer while im typing this. Anyways, 50 gallons is fine for two of them however with any animal, you'll want...

    Breeders

Your best bet would be to either look on Craigslist.org or you can search upcoming reptile shows/conventions in your area, they usually have some beautiful geckos.

    Is 75 to big?

Its not too big. Just remember that the bigger the tank, the harder it is for your geckos to find food, especially if its insect food like crickets. When it comes to cresteds its not so much and width you want in a tank, its height. Cresteds like to climb so having a deep tank is better then...
