I put eco earth in my leopard geckos tank and now his feet look dark almost black Is this normal?

Poor thing probably wouldn’t have made it another week at that store!! He was skinny and over run by bigger leopard geckos! He’s getting nice and plump on his tail now.

But I hear being in the humid hide to long can cause respiratory problems?

My leopard gecko has been hiding in his humid hide for about 4 days now. I thought maybe he is prepping for a shed, but last time he was only in the hide foe 2 days. He only comes out around the time we feed him, and to poop. His temp and humidity levels are normal. I'm not sure what his deal is...

he is very energetic! Caught me by surprise because people are like oh he will hide and not eat as soon as you bring him home… not him not at all. lol he comes out as soon as he hears me and eats a lot! Not as skittish as I thought, but some music hmm I wonder what he likes? Kris

when he eats he lifts up his left leg a lot. kinda like he's stretching it.
