Hello,

I am looking into getting a leopard gecko for a while now. I still have this glass enclosure at home that mesures 20.4x9.8. I searched a ton of sites and some said it was fine to put 1 in there and some said it wasnt. If it isnt enough space for the gecko I would be happy to buy it a bigger enclosure but if I can use this one it would be great because it was quite expensive. Thanks for the help!

Usually the smallest size for an adult leo is either a 20 gallon long (30"x12") or an exo-terra 18"x18". The one you have is somewhat short and narrow. If you get a juvenile, it could be in there for a little while. If you really like that enclosure, it could make a nice terrarium or, once you have experience with the leo, you could consider some of the really tiny geckos. Check out micro geckos at joshsfrogs.com.
